I’d love to visit the Badlands sometime. Copyright © 2017 Love, Laughterr, and Luggage. I’d read about Frontier Cabins Motel, and I knew it was the perfect place for us. It may be easy to be distracted by the breathtaking buttes of the Badlands but that should not deter from the sprawling prairie, home to prairie dogs, bison, big horn sheep, and the black-footed ferret. We will be visiting at some point and will check out these cabins for lodging. A viewing room has been set up in the Badlands Visitors Center to watch recently uncovered fossils be painstakingly cleaned and prepared. Three years ago, my father and I set out on a grand road trip across the country; I was moving to a new home outside of Winter Park, Colorado.
